Hugo Wines McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

A classic McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon from Hugo.Dense inky black in colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Layers of aromas, a mix of ripe blackcurrant, subtle red liquorice and tobacco scents followed by dried herbs and spicy vanillin cedar. Medium to full-bodied, the palate rich with blackcurrant fruits overlaying tobacco and herbs, black olive and spicy cedar flavours. Strong tannin structure lends some firmness to the long deeply fruited finish. Maturation for 16 months in predominately French oak barrels along with a small portion of American oak.
