With blue-violet notes, this aramatic Barossa Shiraz from Yalumba displays notes of anise and dark cherry with red spices, plums, cranberries, pomegranates and nuances of mountain herbs and cracked pepper.  A bold and full-bodied Shiraz with generous red, blue and violet fruits and dark cherries, layered textures lead to a mouth watering, powdery tannin finish.

"These vines were planted below Light Pass in 1919 and the wine is what Barossa Shiraz is all about. It’s super concentrated and deep, but there is a polish and stylishness that makes it so appealing even at this stage. The vineyard is now biodynamically farmed.
