The Other Wine Co. wines are vinified and bottled at the Shaw + Smith winery in Balhannah in South Australia's Adelaide Hills. The wines are 'other' because they give the winemakers the opportunity to make wines from varieties and/or regions that fall outside of Shaw + Smith's rigorous definition. Stylistically, the wines avoid over-ripeness, oak and power in preference to freshness, balance and overall drinkability.

This is a cracker Pinot Gris. Made from Low yielding and handpicked fruit. The wine is cool fermented in stainless steel followed by four months on lees. The Other Wine Co Pinot Gris has classic stone fruit characteristics, is unmistakably Pinot Gris, and is a worthy contender in our 'Best Pinot Gris In Australia Series'. Seriously yum.
