Vintage 2017

Produced from grapes grown on their Glenkara Estate Vineyard in the Pyrenees Ranges. Matured for 18 months in American and French Hogsheads.

The 2017 Massoni Shiraz gives a complex mix of violet florals and blackcurrant characteristics on the nose. Longer ripening period and cool nights allow these floral characters to develop whilst maintain fruit concentration. The length of oak maturation underpins the aroma adding complexity and depth. In the glass the concentration of colour reflects the palate of the wine, typical of Massoni Shiraz. Blackcurrant and dark floral notes continue throughout the length of the palate with complex tannins to complete the mouthfeel. Ready to enjoy now or cellar for 5 to 10 years.
