Bindi Sergardi La Boncia is a 100% Sangiovese Chianti. Ruby red in colour, the wine has a full and intense fragrance with hints of red cherries and raspberries, and a touch of grapefruit. On the palate the wine is smooth and well-balanced with notes of red currant, strawberry and some savoury hints of tobacco and herbs. With gentle tannins and a long finish it is very easy drinking and ready to drink now. Pair it with classic Italian dishes like pasta and pizza, or Italian cheeses.
The Bindi Sergardi family has been dedicated to wine making in Siena since 1349. Alessandra Casini Bindi Sergardi and her father Nicolò, still manage the family's estate. Following the 700 years-old tradition of her family in wine making, they are true Sangiovese specialists.
